HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE? Our charges depend on the type of case: criminal or civil, the number of parties, the complexity and county where your case is filed. Our office primarily handle cases in the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. But, we have handles cases across the State of Texas.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR THE INTITIAL CONSULTATION? Normally, the initial consultation is free.
CAN I HIRE YOU WITHOUT PHYSICALLY COMING INTO YOUR OFFICE? Yes, many of our clients hire us to represent them without coming into the office. They normally use a credit card to place a retainer fee so representation can start immediately.
WHAT CREDIT CARDS DOES THIS OFFICE TAKE? We accept all major credit cards. Payment can also be made by cash, check, or money order.
HAS THIS OFFICE HANDLED FEDERAL CASES? We have handled Federal criminal and civil cases. In fact, Ronald T. Spriggs and Levi L. Spriggs has been approved to appear and represent clients in all of the Federal Courts in the United States Northern District of Texas. Federal cases are complicated. Federal Courts have many rules and deadlines. Any person who has a Federal case needs to understand how the Federal rules apply to their case. The rules and deadlines are not uniformed for all the courts.
DOES THIS OFFICE HANDLE POST CONVICTION WORK? Yes, we are willing to talk to you about post conviction cases. Post conviction work is expense. In the pass, we have handled appeals and capital murder writs. One key point to post conviction cases is to hire the attorney as soon as possible so he can attempt to develop evidence that can be used in the post conviction brief. Sometimes it is best to hire the post conviction attorney before the trial is completed.
